Despite the gloom and doom that I hear on radio 4 all day, this has been my best year so far in terms of sales made and commisions undertaken, so it's not all bad news. However, I am very aware that this may not last as more people feel the pinch, so I am very grateful to all of you who have bought from me this year.At the moment, I am busily designing and making work for the sculpture trail that I am undertaking at the Ventnor Botanic Gardens on the Isle of Wight next summer. I have made a series of photos and drawings that I am working from and I have some new work that I am excited about which is emerging from these. The plan is to have at least 12 sculptures, dotted throughout the gardens, which will be relevant to the plants which are grown there. More news of the sculpture trail will be available nearer the time.
